Let’s call it what it is: Ukiah is broke, and this annexation scheme is a desperate cash grab dressed up as progress. They’ve burned through their own budget, and now they want yours. This isn’t smart growth, it’s fiscal colonization, plain and simple. More taxes, more rules, less transparency. If we don’t stop it now, we’ll be paying for their mistakes with our freedom.
